Meet the Team

Joe is a Chartered Accountant who specialises in tax advice and small business start-ups. Key areas of strength include day-to-day business management as well as minimising all areas of taxation, in particular income and corporation tax.

Joe has been involved in both company sales and purchases. Recent transactions involved the sale of a small family run business to an American subsidiary listed on the NASDAQ.

Joe has a varied portfolio of clients ranging from self-employed individuals to companies with a multi-million pound turnover and significant assets under management.

Sally joined the Thickbroom team as a school leaver at the age of 16 and has learnt the business from the ground up. She qualified as an accountant in 2000 and rapidly grew her skills and expertise across all areas of accountancy, firmly establishing herself as a well-respected senior member of the company. She became a director of the firm at the start of 2015 and her comprehensive knowledge of our business and our clients is highly valued.

Marion came to Thickbroom in 2009 from an IT based background in the city, having spent over 20 years delivering trading room technology to banks. As a non-accountant, she has brought an extended service offering to the company, working with key clients to help them grow their business through better use of process and technology. She joined the team of directors at the start of 2015.

Dennis has been a senior member of Thickbroom Coventry for over 30 years and works alongside the directors as a consultant. His clients range from sole traders to subsidiaries of international groups. Dennis’ detailed knowledge of audit and accounting principles is invaluable to the firm.
